Step onto the grounds of Placita de la Luna and immediately you sense the colorful history of this beautifully maintained complex. Explore the buildings with their graceful arches and thick adobe walls to discover the story of their origins. The original structure was a home built in 1934 with adobe dug from the site and hand formed by members of the Pasqui Yaqui tribe who lived on the reservation just south of the complex. The home was added on to over the decades as the family's needs grew. The resulting traditional territorial architecture is uniquely a Tucson treasure. You'll be glad to know that there are artist studio spaces available for lease.placita de la luna logo
